Pass Door

This is an Archmage and Prophet spell that will allow them to pass through
a door as if it were open.

Poison

Usage : cast 'poison' <victim | food | drink>
Duration : Level hours, or permanent on food and drinks.

Casting poison on food or drink (containers) will poison it. Eating
poisoned food/drinks will poison the person eating or drinking.

A person who is poisoned will suffer damage every hour, lose strength, and
gain less points than usual.

Poison Sense

Usage : cast 'poison sense' [target, object]
Duration : Instant

This spell will allow you to sense the presence of poison in food, drink, or
another person.

Portal

Usage : cast 'portal' [arcane name]
Duration : 2-3 Hours

This spell creates a magical gateway between the caster and the target.
This allows people to travel from one place to the other by typing
'enter portal'.

Powerball

Usage : cast 'powerball' [target]
Duration : Instant

This is a powerful air wizard spell. A ball of pure magical energy is
directed at the victim causing much damage.

Power Heal

Usage : cast 'power heal' [target]
Duration : Instant

This powerful curative spell cures 200+ points of damage.
           

Prayer

Usage : cast 'prayer'
Duration : Instant

This spell bestows the effects of a bless on everyone in your group.

Probability Travel

Usage : cast 'probability' [self only]
Duration : Instantaneous

This spell will randomly change your location to somewhere on the mud.
There is no guarantee other than it will not teleport you into a DT.

Project Force

Usage : cast 'project force' [target]
Duration : Instantaneous

This spell throws a mental projection at the target, causing damage.

Protection from Evil

UUsage : cast 'protection from evil' [self]
Duration : 24 hours

The abilities of this spell HAVE been defined!!! This protects you from
attacks from aggressive evil mobs.

Protection from Good

Usage : cast 'protection from good' [self]
Duration : 24 hours

The abilities of this spell HAVE been defined!!! This protects you from the
attacks from aggressive good mobs.

Psionic Blast

Usage : cas 'psionic blast' [target]
Duration : Instantaneous

This spell turns the mental energy of the psionicist into a large blast at
the targets mind, causing both damage and possibly confusion.

Recharge

This spell allows you to recharge a wand or staff.

Note: Recharging an item too much can result in an explosion.

Refresh

Usage : cast 'refresh' [target]
Duration : Instantaneous

This spell returns some of the targets spent movement points.

Relocate

Usage : cast 'relocate' [target]
Duration : Instantaneous

This spell will teleport you to the target of your spell. This only works
if the mob in question is summonable, and can be seen by you.

Remove Curse

Usage : cast 'remove curse' <victim | object>
Duration : Instantaneous

Will remove a curse on carried objects or any persons in the room.

Remove Poison

Usage : cast 'remove poison' <victim | food | drink>
Duration : Instantaneous

Will remove the affects of poison from a victim or an object.

Sanctuary

Usage : cast 'sanctuary' [self]
Duration : 4 hours

When protected by sanctuary you will only receive 1/2 the normal damage
caused by a particular blow.

Sense Life

Usage : cast 'sense life'
Duration : Level hours.
NOTE : Can only be found on objects

Allows the caster to sense the presence of a player or monster in the
room which is hiding. The true identity will remain hidden however.

Shield

Usage : cast 'shield' [target]
Duration : 24 Hours

This spell turns the air around the target into a shield, which effectively
lowers the targets armor class by 2.

Shocking Grasp

Usage : cast 'shocking grasp' <victim>
Duration : Instantaneous

This spells delivers quite a shock from the casters hands to the victim.

Shooting Stars

Usage : cast 'shooting stars' [target]
Duration : Instantaneous

This spell causes a swarm of shooting stars to fall upon the victim, causing
massive damage.

Silence

Usage : cast 'silence' [target]
Duration : 3-4 Hours

If the victim of this spell fails his save, his vocal cords will sieze up,
making it impossible to cast spells.

Sleep

Usage : cast 'sleep' <victim>
Accumulative: Yes (Duration)
Duration : 4 hours + level/4

If failing saving throw versus spell, the person will fall asleep.
A person who is affected by sleep can only be awakened if attacked.

Slow

Usage : cast 'slow' [target]
Duration : Instant

This spell slows the victim's metabolism causing them to get less attacks
per round of combat.

Spiked Stone

Usage : cast 'spiked stones' [target]
Duration : Instantaneous

This spell causes a field of spiked stones to spring up under the feet of
the victim, knocking it down, and causing some damage.

Stasis Field

Usage : cast 'stasis field' [self only]
Duration : Level Dependant

This spell creates a near impermeable field around the caster, effectively
lowering his AC by 2.

Steaming Breath

Usage : cast 'steaming breath' [target]
Duration : Instant

This spell causes a a small cloud of steam to appear around the victim doing
damage.

Stick to Snake

Usage : cast 'sticks to snakes'
Duration : Instantaneous

This spell will turn a stick carried by the druid into snakes which will then
attack the target before returning to stick form. NOTE: This spell does
require the caster to have a stick in his inventory.

Stinking Cloud

Usage : cast 'stinking cloud' [target]
Duration : Instant

This spell causes a cloud of noxious gasses to cover the victim doing damage.

Stone Skin

Usage : cast 'stone skin' [self only]
Duration : Level Dependant

This spell turns the casters skin into stone, making it much more difficult
to do damage to the caster.

Strength

Usage : cast 'strength' <victim>
Duration : Level/2 + 4

A person will gain 2 strength points.

Summon

Usage : cast 'summon' <victim>; answer <summoner>
Duration : Instantaneous

This spell will summon the given victim, however the victim has a
say in his being summoned. The victim must answer the summons
within 2 minutes or the summons will be cancelled. Being as mobs
can not answer a summon they are unable to be summoned at all.

Summon Elemental

Usage : cast 'summon elemental'
Duration : Indefinite

This spell summons a creature from one of the elemental planes to assist the
caster in adventuring.

Summon Steed

Usage : cast 'summon steed'
Duration : One Mud Day

This spell calls upon a mighty steed for the caster to "ride". This will
lessen the movement used.

Sun Ray

Usage : cast 'sunray' [target]
Duration : Instantaneous

This spell causes a ray of holy light to come down from the sky damaging the
target if it is evil.

T

Teleport

Usage : cast 'teleport' [self]
Duration : Instant

Teleport (with error) will instantly transfer you to another location
in the world. This location is random, and thus there will always be
a risk of landing in a fatal location (NOT a DT).

Tempest Wind

Usage : cast 'tempest wind' [target]
Duration : Instantaneous

This spell causes a very powerful gust of wind to strike the target, damaging
it.

Tentacles

Usage : cast 'tentacles'
Duration : Instantaneous

This spell causes tentacles to spring up out of the WATER and grab everyone
in the room, dragging them to a sitting position.

Tsunami

Usage : cast 'tsunami'
Duration : Instant

This creates a large wave which harms any mobs in the room. This spell only
works on the water.
