A

Acid Arrow

Usage:  cast 'acid arrow' [target]
Duration: Instantaneous

Acid arrow is a spell that creates a small jet of acid from the casters fingers and sends its shooting towards the intended victim.

Acid Blast

Usage : cast 'acid blast' [target]
Duration : Instant

Acid Blast will send a jet of acid at the target hurting him and possibly
an item in his inventory.

Acid Rain

Usage : cast 'acid rain' [target]
Duration : Instant

Acid Rain sends a mighty show of acidic rain down on all the mobs in the
room. This does not affect other players.

Adrenalize

Usage : cast 'adrenalize' [target]
Duration : Level Dependent

Adrenalize will get your adrenaline flowing resulting in more damage, but
because of your excitement, you are a little less likely to hit.

Aid

Usage : cast 'aid' [target]
Duration : Level Dependent

Aid will use divine forces to give you a temporary increase in hit points
and some aid to your hitroll.

Airy Water

Usage : cast 'airy water'
Duration : Several tics

When underwater this spell makes the water in the room breathable by everyone.

Animate Dead

Usage : Cast 'animate dead' [target]
Duration :

This spell is under construction.

Animate Shadow

Usage : cast 'animate shadow'
Duration : Indefinite

Animate Shadow causes your shadow to take on a physical form to assist you.

Arcane

Usage : cast 'arcane'
Duration : N/A

This spell gives you the arcane name of your location. This is used in
combination with portal. In order to portal to a location, you must have been
there before and have the arcane name for it.

***NOTE*** You must keep you own list of arcane words. The game does NOT
keep that for you.

Armor

Usage : cast 'armor' [target]
Duration : 24 tics

The Armor spell will improve your AC by 2.

Aura Sight

Usage : cast 'aura sight'
Duration : Level Dependent

Aura Sight will cause you to see a colored aura around other characters and
mobs.

B

Ballistic Attack

Usage : cast 'ballistic attack' [target]
Duration : Instant

Ballistic Attack uses some of your mental energy to harm your opponent.

Bark Skin

Usage : cast 'barkskin' [self only]
Duration : 24 Hours

This spell causes your skin to harden into tree bark enhancing your AC by 2.

Bestow Curse

Usage : cast 'bestow curse' <victim | object>
Accumulative: Yes
Duration : 7 Days, permanent on objects.

Bestow Curse cast on a person that fails the saving throw, will reduce their
hitroll and damage roll both by one. It will also reduce the saving
throw versus paralyzation by one.

When cast upon an object, the object will become undropable.

Bless

Usage : cast 'bless' <target | object>
Duration : Level Dependant

Bless on a victim will improve the victims saving throw versus spells
by and improve the hitroll dependant on the level of the caster.

Bless on an item currently has no defined action. It is only possible
to bless non-evil items, and the object blessed may weigh no more
than five pounds per level of caster.

Blindness

Usage : cast 'blindness' <victim>
Duration : 2 hours.

Blindness will blind a victim failing its saving throw.
A blinded person will have -4 penalty to both hitroll and AC.

Body Weaponry

Usage : cast 'body weaponry' [self only]
Duration : Level Dependent

Body Weaponry turns your appendages into weapons, increasing your hitroll
and damroll.

Burning Hands

Usage : cast 'burning hands' <victim>
Duration : Instantaneous

Burning Hands causes jets of flames to shoot from the casters hands, burning
the victim.

Call Lightning

Usage : cast 'call lightning' <victim>
Duration : Instant

This spell will use the "force of nature" to make a lightning
strike the victim. It is therefore only possible to call lightning
outside, and it has to be raining (or worse).

Channel

Usage : cast 'channel' [target]
Duration : Instant

Channel will use ALL of the caster's mana!!! It will do damage proportional
to the amount of mana spent. This spell turns your victim into a conduit
for all of your magical energies, overloading his system.

Charm

Usage : cast 'charm' <victim>
Duration : (432/Intelligence points of person) hours

Is is not possible to charm anyone that is already charmed, if
you're charmed yourself, or if the person is higher level than
yourself. The person will get a saving throw versus "paralyzation".

A charmed person will follow you, and not be able to attack you. You
can order the charmed person using the order command.

Chill Touch

Usage : cast 'chill touch' <victim>
Duration : Instant

A victim failing its saving throw will get its strength
reduced by one.

Color Spray

Usage : cast 'color spray' <victim>
Duration : Instant

This spell causes a fan-shape stream of colors to issue from the caster's
hands, causing damage to the victim.

Combat Sense

Usage : cast 'combat sense'
Duration : A while :)

This is actually a spell for Blademasters. It will help increase your
hitroll and damroll. The increase improves with level.

Complete Healing

Usage : cast 'complete healing' [target]
Duration : Instant

Complete Healing is very powerful curative spell.

Confusion

Usage : cast 'confusion' victim
Duration : 2 hours

This spell confuses the victim rendering them unable to cast spells.

Continual Light

Usage : cast 'continual light'
Duration : Indefinite

Continual Light creates a glowing ball of light which can be held and used
as a light source until you loose the item.

Control Flames

Usage : cast 'control flames'
Duration : Indefinite

Control Flames allows you to call a fire elemental to your aid.

Control Weather

Usage : cast 'control weather' <'better' | 'worse'>
Accumulative: Yes
Duration : Until Natural Weather Catches Up

This spell will change the "course" of the current weather.

Example:

> cast 'control weather' worse

Create Food

Usage : cast 'create food'
Duration : Instant

This spell instantly creates a fresh waybread. The waybread will be
filling for the next 24 hours.

Create Spring

Usage: cast 'create spring'
Duration: Until reboot

This spell creates a small running spring in the room for all to drink
from. This spell has a slight feature that doesn't make the spring
decay.

Create Water

Usage : cast 'create water' <drink container>
Duration : Instant

Expect disastrous results if cast upon a drink container which contains
another liquid than water. Empty containers will be filled dependent
on the level of the caster.

Double amount of water will be created if it is raining (or worse).

Cure Blind

  Usage : cast 'cure blind' <target>
Duration : Instant

This spell will cure a person blinded by the "blindness" spell.

Cure Critical

Usage : cast 'cure critic' <target>
Duration : Instant

This spell cures 3d8+3 hitpoints of damage.

Cure Light

Usage : cast 'cure light' <target>
Duration : Instant

Cures minor wounds and scratches.

Cure Serious

Usage : cast 'cure serious' [target]
Duration : Instant

This spell cures 2d8 hitpoints of damage.

D

Demon Fire

Usage : cast 'demon fire' [target]
Duration : Instant

You call down demon fire from the heavens in their never-ending
quest to convert the righteous. This spell is a last resort.

Detect Alignment

Usage : cast 'detect alignment'
Duration : 12 hours + level

Allows the caster to detect the alignment of those around them.
Evil will show as a red aura, good in a blue aura.

Detect Invisibility

Usage : cast 'detect invisibility' [self]
Duration : 12 hours + level/4

This spell enables you to see invisible items, mobs, and players.

Detect Magic

Usage : cast 'detect magic' [self]
Duration : 12 hours + level

This spell will let you see the magical aura surrounding magical
objects.

Detect Poison

Usage : cast 'detect poison' <victim | food | drink>
Duration : Instant

Cast on food or drinks (drink containers) you will be able to
sense if it is poisoned.

Cast on a person you will be able to see if that person is
poisoned.

Detonate

Usage : cast 'detonate' [target]
Duration : Instant

This spell causes explosions within the target with the potential to kill
the target outright.

Disintegrate

Usage : cast 'disintegrate' [target]
Duration : Instant

This spell allows you to try and destroy your target in one blow.

Dispel Evil

Usage : cast 'dispel evil' <victim>
Duration : Instant

This spell will only affect evil creatures. An evil person of level
equal or less than caster will suffer damage due to their evil nature.

If the victim is higher level than caster, the spell will inflict
(caster_level)d4 damage points, saving throw versus half damage.

Dispel Good

Usage : cast 'dispel good' [target]
Duration : Instant

This spell will only affect good creatures. A good person of level equal
or less than the caster will suffer damage due to their good nature.

If the victim is higher level than the caster, the spell will inflict
(caster_level)d4 damage points, saving throw versus half damage.

Dominate

Usage : cast 'dominate' [victim]
Duration : 432/intelligence of victim

This spell allows you to dominate the mind of another and allows you to
order them as you will.

Dust Devil

Usage : cast 'dust devil'
Duration : Indefinite

This spell allows you to call on the service of a dust devil to aid you
in your never ending quest for xp, gold, and equipment.

E

Earthquake

Usage : cast 'earthquake'
Duration : Instant

This spell will damage everybody except the caster by
1d8+level_of_caster hitpoints. CAUTION: This will cause every mob in the
room to attack you.

Elemental Aura

This spell lowers the casters armor class and offers them from protection from
their opposing element.

Enchant Weapon

This spell will enchant non-magical (non-modifying) weapons only.
By non-modifying weapons we refer to weapons that might alter any
ability such as for example damage. The only way to know if a weapon
is suitable for enchantment is to fully identify it.

The enchantment will modify the weapon as:

Energy Drain

Usage : cast 'energy drain' <victim>
Duration : Instant

This spell does damage to the other party by draining away their hitpoints.

Enhance Strength

Usage : cast 'enhance strength' [target]
Duration : Level Dependent

This spell grants the target a temporary increase in strength.

Entangle

Usage : cast 'entangle' [target]
Duration : Instant

This spell causes the local flora and fauna to animate and assist the druid,
tripping the victim.

Ethereal

This is a separate plane of existence in the world of Enuph. You can get
there by casting the ethereal spell or quaffing a potion of ethereal. The
first part of the Ethereal Planes is the Border Ethereal. This is like
being half a step out of tune with everything else. You will see the same
room descriptions as before but they will be a different color and it opens
up new mobs for you to kill. There will also be portals to the Deep
Ethereal Planes. You do not interact with regular mobs when you are
ethereal and you can not pick up regular objects from across the ether.
