G

Gouge

This skill attempts to put your fingers in their eyes, blinding them.

Gut

This allows you to disembowel a wounded opponent instantly ending their
life.

H

Headbutt

 

Head Splitter

This is a Blademaster skill that causes your weapon to come down hard on
top of a victim's skull causing damage.

Hide

When you type hide there is a chance that you hide in the room. If hidden
you can only be "sensed" by the "sense life" spell. Hide is broken by
pressing return, regardless of whether you typed a command or not.

Example:

> hide
Ok.
> (you wait for 5 mins and remain hidden for 5 mins)

> (You pressed enter and no longer hide)

I

Immoveable

Instant Stand

This allows the monk to immediately gain their footing after being bashed
or tripped etc. By doing this, the monk will not lose any of the normal
attacks lost by those skills.

Iron Cloth

This skill is a measure of discipline and training of the defensive monk.
These skills exhibit the toughness of the monks body to withstand damage, thus
reducing the amount of damage they receive.

Iron Fist

This skill is a measure of discipline and training of the punching monk. It
causes your fist to become like iron, doing more damage.

Iron Skin

This skill is a measure of discipline and training of the defensive monk.
These skills exhibit the toughness of the monks body to withstand damage, thus
reducing the amount of damage they receive.

Kick

L

Leap

Usage: leap <direction>

This allows the monk to leap away from a fight into another room to reattain
balance.

Light Step

This skill reduces the chance that an aggressive mob will see you.

Listen

Usage: listen or listen [direction]
Duration: Instant

This skill works two different ways. If you type listen by itself then
you are listening for hidden and invisible mobs in your current room. If you
type listen with a direction, you listen for mobs in that direction.

P

Pain Touch

This allows the monk to lay his hands on the victim delivering a racking
pain throughout its body.

Patch

This allows a player to give themselves minor first aid. This can only be
done to yourself.

Peek

This skill allows the thief to see what is in their potential victims inventory.

Pick Lock

Usage: pick <lock name> [direction]

For picking locks. Not all locks can be picked.


Pick Pocket

This skill allows the thief to lift gold from the pockets of unsuspecting mobs.
Note: Attempting this skill on another player is bad for your health.

Punch

Q

Quick Strike

This skill allows you to strike first against an aggressive mob.

R

Rescue

Usage: rescue <victim>

This command is useful if you want to try and make an attacker hit you
instead of your poor friend who is being pummeled. You can only 'turn'
one monster for each rescue attempt. This is very useful when playing
in groups, of course.

Retreat

Usage : retreat [direction]

This is a thieves ability to discreetly leave a battle in progress. This also
allows you to control in which direction you leave and without xp penalty.

S

Scan

This command lets you take a good look around and tells you what mobs are
in the immediate area.

Scissor Kick

Second Attack

You gain the potential for  2 attacks per round of combat.

Skin

The tanner in Dostatochno will make a lovely bag for you out of the corpse of
any mob or player. You must first have a warrior skin the corpse for you.
Take the skin to the tanner and type TAN SKIN.

Warriors have the ability to skin corpses. Type SKIN CORPSE.

Slide

This skill attempts to knock the opponent off his feet by sliding under
them or tripping them. This renders them unable to attack for a round
or two.

Note: This will keep mobs from casting spells or performing skills.

Sneak

Usage: sneak

Used for moving in and out of rooms without anyone taking notice.
If you successfully sneak, then you'll continue to sneak for a little while.
Type aff to see if your sneak was successful.

Spy

Usage : spy [direction]

This skill allows you to see what is going on in an adjacent room, nosey.

Steal

Usage: steal <item> <victim>

Use steal to steal items from people. The chance of not getting
caught depends on how well you have practiced steal, and if the person
is asleep.

Due to misuse of the steal command, it is now illegal to steal from other
players. Doing so will get you a flag for your trouble.

Sticking Touch

By use of the skill the punching monk can prevent a mob from fleeing from the fight.

Stun

This skill temporarily stuns a mob, allowing you to do more damage.
Note: You must be fighting bare handed.

Sucker Punch

This is a dirty fighting technique used by thieves. The victim receives
an unexpected blow in an unexpected location.

Swordsmith

Adventurers who possess this skill have the ability to combine raw materials
and turn them into weapons.

T

Third Attack

You gain the potential for 3 attacks per round of combat.

Track

Usage: track <victim>

Used for finding the first step on the shortest route to a monster.

Trip

This skill attempts to knock the opponent off his feet by sliding under
them or tripping them. This renders them unable to attack for a round
or two.

Note: This will keep mobs from casting spells or performing skills.

Tumble

Twin Slash

Usage : twin <victim>

This is a Blademaster skill. By using this, the warrior can sometimes
slash a victim twice very quickly. You must be using a slashing weapon
to get this benefit.

Twin Stab

Usage : twin <victim>

This is an Assassin skill. By using this skill, the Assissin can sometimes stab a victim twice very quickly. You must be using a stabbing or piercing weapon to get any benefit.

W

Wand Craft

This is a skill for all magic users. It allows you to combine ingredients to make your own wands.

You use this by typing:
Wandcraft <name of wand>
