I find myself thrown into this strange land as a piece of dust is tossed about a ray of golden sunlight on a warm summer day.  Nothing of my former existence has remained in my memory.  I only recall falling a great distance and landing hard on the emerald green grass of a forest.  It could have been a strange portal, a wrinkle in the fabric of time, or a strange dream from which I can not wake.  Why me?  That is the question that keeps rolling around in my head.  I am sure I had a life before I was thrust into this existence.

The path to town was easily located with the help of a kind traveler.  I wanted to go there to try and find answers to my many questions.  Dostatochno was the name of the town.  There were people everywhere.  Shopkeepers selling their wares, beggars asking for coins, dogs scrounging for food and mercenaries looking for work of the shady kind.  Everyone was going about their business and did not seem to have time to stop and answer my many questions.

A young couple finally assisted me by telling me where to find the Priest of Bacchus.  He explained that the land was called Enuph.  He told me incredible tales.  Magic fills this land!  I could even learn the use of the magic if I chose.  I was also told that the Gods speak to people often.  He went on to tell me as much as he knew about each of the deities here.  But, alas, he can't help me find my way home.

My job here, it seems, is to adventure and learn.  I see no easy way of getting back to my former life so I must wait.  I will detail my adventures and knowledge in this journal, writing of the people and places I encounter.  May it help someone else along the way.
